Morphine

Morphine becomes your best friend. The fear was unimaginable. All the months leading up to this point didn't prepare us for the overwhelming emotions we felt yesterday.

Paigee was ok with the talk about missing school .... "it's ok Mom if I miss school for a week or two". An Angel, even now !

I feel strange, it's almost a feeling of being at peace. Perhaps seeing how the pain can be controlled with Morphine gives me the courage to go on.
