Diagnosed Mar 2003. For 12 months I underwent Chemo/Radiation,completing this treatment Feb 2004. Six months later I relapsed with a tumor to the brain. From Aug 2004 to Jul 2005 I underwent Chemo ( for control only ) based on a Ewings's Protocol.

A Wonderful cause !

Dr. Frederic Barr is the lead Researcher in the US trying to find a cure for Rhabdomyosarcoma. If anyone feels so inclined please consider a donation for a worthy cause. In the span of 32 months, including Paigee, there have been 4 deaths attributed to Rhabdomyosarcoma just at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital alone. The statistics for cure are not in favor of the patient.

Although it hasn't quite happened yet, please do not send flowers. Donations to Dr. Barr would be a better use of the money; in Paigee's name if you want. It may save other children from a similar fate as Paigee.

Thanks for the info Chris. I had wondered where to send money for rhabdo research, so now can pursue these sites. jsb
