Diagnosed Mar 2003. For 12 months I underwent Chemo/Radiation,completing this treatment Feb 2004. Six months later I relapsed with a tumor to the brain. From Aug 2004 to Jul 2005 I underwent Chemo ( for control only ) based on a Ewings's Protocol.
March 2004 DullesRosie coined a new term ,"Oncology Years". Along the lines of "Dog Years". Say for every year the patient and their supporting family are struggling with Cancer, that year essentially is a reduction in 7 normal years. This accounts for Madison's level of maturity. Life on an accelerated time frame.
