Sleeping !
I increased the Morphine dosage to 1.5 mg/hr, with the bolus at the same rate. That's why she is so sleepy today, yeah, right !
1:33PM -> She just woke needing to go to the bathroom. Yeah I know, i'm very emotional for a man. I guess I've never loved anything like I do Paigee.
7:30PM -> Paige was awake for 6 hours today. She said yes when I asked if she wanted gummi bears but she didn't actually eat them. She watched a lot of TV. It's very noticable that her body is shutting down; we started seeing this late Thursday and on Friday. Her vomit is dark green and Hospice has told us it is bile. When the body starts shutting down the colon stop processing fluids, the bile comes up as vomit. I'm so hoping she lasts beyond her Birthday on the 15th so we don't have to say, "she almost made it to seven.", when people ask how old she was when she died. Seven was going to big special. We were going to go to a place called Pump It Up and the theme would have been The Power Rangers. Why the Power Rangers wasn't really clear since she never really watched them or had any of their toys. A question that I guess will never be answered, maybe Tammy knows if it was something from Kid's Club. Well, she's back to sleep and all we can do is wait for tomorrow.

I love the additional pictures that you've added Christopher. My favorite is of Paige holding the lizard. I love the expression in her face. We all wish there was some way that we could lessen this burden for all of you. A hug, YFSIL
Christopher,
Paigee started counting down the days until her birthday in August. I asked her what kind of party she was having, perhaps another dog party? Her eyes just lit up as she described a Power Ranger party at Pump-It-Up! She said she liked the Red Ranger the best.
When playing on the playground over the summer, Paigee and her friends would play Power Rangers. When they were in Kindergarten, they used to play Power Puff Girls. I was always Mojo Jojo. This time, I was some type of alien monster that all the Power Rangers would try to use karate moves on. I would usually end up in "jail" which was the bridge are of the climbing structure. I would be there until I could escape and the chase was on again! This was great fun for all of us. The only problem was I just couldn't keep up with them and ended up in jail a lot! ha ha
Anyway, Paigee had said she saw a Power Rangers movie and it was COOOL. This explains why I got her the Red Ranger and one of the DVD's. I thought this was actually something she watched at home.
I hope this sort of answers your question as to the type of party she was planning.
Please tell her I have one more surprise I will drop off at the front door on Monday.
Hugs and Prayers to All!
Ms. Tammy
come on the 15th !!
Warm thoughts for all of you,
