MEN

I swear, when things get tough, look for a woman ! Rosie was out for about 1 hour, I'm in the room watching chest movement. Eyes are rolled back in Paigee's head and I don't see any movement for about 1 minute. Talk about panic. Race to get the oxygen machine .... Get back and put it around Paigee's head and make sure it is connected properly to her nose. She seems semi comatose at this point, unbelievably she lets me connect the oxygen and lets me tell her that it's important, she seems to be breathing now. Eyes go wide open, "I've got to go to the bathroooooom !"

Talk about over reacting ! Breathe deep and take your lead from Rosie I keep reminding myself.

Hi Christopher~ It sounds like Paige is getting a good, deep relaxing rest with her pain medication. That will account for her shallow breathing and eye position. If you are worried about when to start oxygen, look at her fingernail beds and the color of her lips. As long as they are pale or pale pink she is probably fine on room air only. Not to stress you further, but sometimes the first sign of needing oxygen is restlessness, despite the medication. If you sense this, it will never hurt to try a little oxygen. I love how she is in **as expected** full control with explicit directions to you!! YFSIL
