I'm not much of a traveller and was surprised that the Kona Airport
Terminal is outside and open to the very picturesque Hawaiian country
side. People from the opposite coast wouldn't have minded waiting in
80 degrees and 90% humidity. I was very excited to find an air conditioned Restaurant that wouldn't throw you out if you kept buying cokes and bottles of
ice water. Better traveled Parents wouldn't have been surprised when
Paige kept reminding them she would rather wait outside, I gave up my
cool comfortable seat after 1 hour with 1 hour left before boarding.
