Sleep
Paigee has been sleeping quietly since I gave her benadryl early this morning to help with vomiting. The drugs are great with symptoms, but at the expense of being able to interact with her the little time we have left.
Just got an email from the other Rhabdo patient's Mother. This is the kid that was diagnosed at the same time as Paigee, also Stage IV. That child has a tumor growing around their spine and can no longer walk, and has no sensation from the waist down. They have continued treatment and hope to fight the brain tumor that is now evident from the two lumps on the child's head. What's the right decision ? To struggle with your child's imminent demise and have to make decisions to continue to fight or to stop !
