Happy New Year

Well of course I let Paige stay up past 12PM. There is a
first time for everything. I did however expect she would
sleep past 8 the next morning. Grumpy is an understatement.

We were surprised and happy by an unexpected visit from
Maddison and Dee Dee on their way to Dialysis. Maddison is
Paige's girl friend we met here at Stanford. She is in remission
from Wilms Tumor. Maddison has been in treatment at Stanford
for 6 years. Maddison has had both kidneys removed and is on
the 2 year count down waiting for a transplant. Maddison has
been a real positive role model for Paige and everybody gets
excited to see her and Dee Dee
